These portraits are from a series about constriction of breathing, and the feelings I have of loss of control over my own body due to asthma. Where I took a series of portraits, of my subjects going through physical disempowerment, which is a metaphor for my own feelings. I shot them hung upside down, holding there breath, and at the last possible moment captured there involuntary responses.
